Product Introduction:
1. Pre-treatment
Crushing and Screening: Large aluminum ash needs to be crushed by a crusher and then screened to remove larger impurities, ensuring uniform particle size for subsequent thermal treatment. Preheating / Drying (Optional): Some aluminum ash may contain high moisture content. Before entering the rotary kiln, it can be preheated or dried to remove moisture, avoiding the generation of steam in the rotary kiln, which could affect process stability and energy consumption.
2. High-Temperature Treatment in the Rotary Kiln
This is the core step of the entire process, where aluminum ash undergoes a series of physicochemical changes at high temperatures in the rotary kiln. The temperature and atmosphere in the rotary kiln may vary depending on the specific process route and recovery objectives.
3. Post-Treatment
Cooling: The high-temperature materials discharged from the rotary kiln need to be rapidly cooled using cooling equipment (such as a cooler) to avoid secondary reactions or phase changes at high temperatures while facilitating subsequent processing.
Crushing and Grinding: The cooled slag or product is usually in block form and needs to be further crushed and ground to the desired particle size.
Magnetic Separation (Optional): If the product contains magnetic impurities such as iron, they can be removed using magnetic separation equipment.
Flotation/Acid Leaching (for Fine Materials or Further Purification): For aluminum oxide products requiring higher purity, further purification may be needed through wet processes such as flotation or acid leaching.
Product Collection and Packaging: The final products are collected, classified, and packaged according to their intended use.
4. Byproduct Treatment
Slag treatment: The generated slag can be comprehensively utilized based on its composition, such as being used as raw building material, Cement admixture, etc., or subjected to harmless treatment.
Flue gas treatment: The rotary kiln generates flue gas during the high-temperature treatment process, which needs to be treated through dust collectors (such as bag filters, and electrostatic precipitators) to remove particulate matter, and depending on the flue gas composition, desulfurization, denitrification, and other treatments may be required to meet environmental discharge standards.
