Zinc Oxide Production Line

  • Dimension: Φ2.5×40-5.2×75 m
  • Capacity: 150-1200 tpd
  • Fuel Type: Coke Powder, Anthracite, Natural Gas

Product Introduction:

This Zinc Oxide Production Line adopts an advanced high-temperature reduction and fuming process, designed for the high-efficiency recycling and sustainable utilization of zinc-containing waste resources.

Process Principle & Flow

Proportioning & Granulation: Zinc-containing residue (or low-grade zinc ore) is thoroughly mixed with high-calorific, low-sulfur anthracite or coke breeze, followed by granulation.

High-Temperature Reduction Fuming: The prepared materials enter the zinc-extraction rotary kiln for high-temperature reduction. Zinc rapidly volatilizes into zinc vapor and reacts with introduced air to form sub-zinc oxide fume.

Settling & Cooling: Coarse particles are separated in the settling chamber, and the flue gas subsequently enters the surface cooler for natural cooling.

Dust Collection & Packaging: A high-efficiency pulse jet bag filter system captures the final sub-zinc oxide product, which is directly bagged for shipment

Ultra-Low Emission Treatment: The tail gas undergoes deep purification through a flue gas desulfurization (FGD) and denitrification (SCR/SNCR) system before being discharged via a high stack in compliance with environmental standards.

Applicable Materials

Low-grade zinc oxide ores / lead-zinc mixed ores (Zn content 5%–20%, difficult to separate effectively via conventional mineral processing).

EAF dust and blast furnace heavy dust from steel plants (rich in Zn, Fe, Pb, Cl, F, etc.)

Leaching zinc residues / zinc smelting tailings / copper-lead smelting slag.

Gas sludge, zinc-containing industrial waste residue, and secondary zinc resources.

System Integration

The complete production line integrates a proportioning shop, granulation system, zinc oxide rotary kiln fuming system, kiln slag cooling system, settling chamber, flue gas surface cooler, product dust collection system, and tail gas desulfurization and denitrification system.

Key Features

High ROI & Strong Profitability: Utilizes low-cost zinc-bearing waste or low-grade zinc ore as raw materials, ensuring direct and smooth product sales, a concise process route, and a short payback period.

Simple Kiln Structure & Excellent Controllability: The robust rotary kiln design ensures straightforward operation and low-cost maintenance.

Superior Environmental Performance: Utilizes a pulse jet baghouse collector with emission concentrations controlled below 10 mg/Nm3.

High Degree of Automation: Minimizes manual site operation, significantly improving labor efficiency and operational safety.
